- Define and profile candidate credentials
- Develop specific position descriptions
- Determine compensation level
- Determine exempt / non-exempt status
- Write advertisement for open job requisition
- Place advertisement in appropriate media sites, including
newspapers and online resources
- Track applicants and provide requested informational
reports to hiring manager
- Identify qualified candidates
- Conduct pre-screening interview
- Coordinate internal interview and selection process
with appropriate company representatives
- Perform reference checks
- Coordinate background screening with outside vendors
to include criminal, education, credit and others as
requested
- Coordinate company prepared and designed pre-employment
testing if requested
- Review for legal compliance, prepare and extend candidate
offer letter based on company supplied template
- Inform
candidates interviewed but not selected of decision
